The first quarter featured an exciting exchange of leads, with Devon McField leading the charge for HCA. After BCA jumped out to early leads at 3-2 and 9-8, McField sparked a crucial run with his hot shooting. The momentum truly shifted when TJ Matthews and Brandyn Manning connected on back-to-back three-pointers, helping HCA build a 21-12 advantage.
